How to provide the number of search results

Reported by Patrick Guiran | October 27th, 2010 @ 10:08 AM

In old piggydb version, when you make a search, we have had the number of result found.
On new version, the number of result found is not more displayed.

Can't you solve this problem ?

Hi Patrick, how have you been?

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for late reply. I thought a notification mail would be sent to me, but it wasn't :-<

As you might know, the release of V4.13 updated the fragments view so that it will be re-rendered according to the position of the zoom slider. It is implemented using Ajax, so it become difficult to display the number of result like the previous versions.

I think one way of solving this problem is to add an API which allows your plug-in to retrieve the number of search result, as I wrote before. What do you think?
